What you receive

# What you receive

After ordering a server or VPS from IllusionCloud, you will receive a series of emails that contain essential information about your new service. These messages confirm your purchase and provide the credentials you need to access and manage the server. Keep these messages for future reference.

## Emails you will receive

- **Payment confirmation** – acknowledges your order and payment.
- **Order confirmation** – summarises the product you ordered and confirms the order was placed.
- **New server information** – also called the “VPS Information” email. This welcome email contains the technical details for your service. It includes your server’s IP address and the credentials to log in to the control panel or remote console.

## Information included in the welcome email

The welcome email typically contains:

- **IPv4 address and port** – the numeric address you will use to connect to your server and, for some services, a port number.
- **Username** – usually “Administrator” for Windows servers or “root” for Linux servers.
- **Temporary password** – a randomly generated password for your first login. Change this password immediately after logging in and set a strong, unique replacement.
- **Control panel or dashboard link** – a link to your control panel where you can manage your server, view its IP address and reset the password if needed.
- **Additional resources** – depending on your service, the welcome email may include information about the installed operating system, hostname, reverse DNS record, and network settings. For dedicated servers, details about the remote console (IPMI/KVM) may be provided.
