Where to find VPS details in the Client Area

Locating your VPS service details

To manage your KVM VPS, you’ll need to know the server’s IP address, username and initial password. This information is available in your IllusionCloud Client Area (WHMCS).

Steps to find your VPS details

  1. Log in to the IllusionCloud Client Area using your account email and password.
  2. In the navigation menu, choose Services → My Services to view all of your active services.
  3. Locate your KVM VPS service in the list and click its name to open the product details page.
  4. On the product details page, scroll to the Server Information or VPS Details section. Here you’ll see important information including:
  • Hostname – the server name you chose during ordering.
  • Primary IP address and any additional IPs you purchased.
  • Username – usually root for Linux or Administrator for Windows.
  • Initial password – an auto‑generated password for the first login; you can also reset it.
  • Nameserver and network information.
  • Use the IP address, username and password to connect via SSH (Linux) or RDP (Windows). See the next sections for first‑login instructions. After logging in, update your password as part of the credential rotation checklist.
  • If available, you can also use the Login to Control Panel or Console Access button in the Client Area to open the virtualization panel for starting/stopping the VPS and accessing the VNC console.
  • If you cannot find the details, review the welcome email you received when your VPS was provisioned or open a support ticket for assistance.
